Although texts circulating tell how to apply and also stop from receiving such notifications, people are advised to ignore these messages as replying only lets the scammers know that your number is an active one. No one knows exactly how numbers are obtained by these people but many think that numbers are chosen randomly and getting a reply makes you vulnerable to not so reputable companies that offer unsavory dealings.
